
Rachel Sepulveda

Rachel Sepulveda is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and arranger skilled in pop, R & B, jazz, and Latin styles. She has performed abroad singing for international audiences at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy, and also MusicFest Canada. She has shared the stage with other great artists and groups like Randy Brecker, Bill Dobbins, Bobby Floyd, Chico Pinheiro, Deborah Brown, Peter Eldridge of the New York Voices, Sunny Wilkinson, Cedric Dent, Rob Parton, Aaron Scott, Phil Clark, Mark Flugge, Reggie Jackson, and the Battle Creek Symphony.
Rachel makes her home in Columbus, Ohio singing at clubs, restaurants, and festivals throughout the city and the Midwest. Rachel was a featured artist at the Creekside Jazz Festival 2019 was a featured at the Columbus Jazz and Ribs Festival, 2015. She opened for Lou Donaldson there in 2010 singing alongside Saxophonist, Wes “Warmdaddy” Anderson. Rachel has performed on stages at the McConnell Arts Center, the Columbus Library Jazz Series, The Columbus Marathon, Red White and Boom, The Columbus Arts Festival, ComFest, and The Gahanna Creekside Jazz Festival. You may also be able to catch her at smaller venues like The Refectory Restaurant, Natalie’s Coal Fired Pizza, and Copius Notes.
Ms. Sepulveda recently completed her Masters of Music in Jazz Performance at Western Michigan University. While there, she sang with Gold Company that won the 2017 Downbeat student award for best large vocal jazz ensemble performance. As a jazz educator, she has been actively involved with the Columbus Jazz Arts Group, producing jazz educational videos for students of all ages.
